Ultra Glide

Ultra-Glide™ Automatic Sliding Entrances are engineered to meet the challenges of modern architectural design. The smooth quiet performance and high degree of reliability of the Series 1100 enables the designer to utilize any of the variety of sizes, shapes and configurations for high traffic locations or any entry/exit requirement. This high quality automatic sliding entrance will showcase and enhance new or retrofit applications. At the center of each Ultra-Glide package is the state-of-the art microprocessor control that has set KM Automated Sliding Entrances far ahead of the competition and established a standard for the industry. This control ensures safe and responsive performance with complete command of each aspect of the door operation. The position of the door is continually monitored for both safety and adjustment to varying weather conditions.

A continuous belt drive mechanism provides smooth trouble free operation with no slippage or unevenness in operation. Operator and microprocessor are completely contained within a continuous header.  The Series 1100 "Slim Line" door design allows for narrow sight line or may be customized for heavier configurations in single, biparting and telescoping versions. Panels and sidelights swing out to provide the widest possible opening to accommodate large objects or emergency egress. Transoms, muntins and pocket panels are easily added to any of the Ultra-Glide™ packages. Clear and dark bronze finishes are standard and a wide variety of painted and anodized finishes are available.

AUTOMATIC SLIDING ENTRANCE ACTIVATION SYSTEMS

The selection of activating devices is a critical part of door automation. Each system has a specific use and benefit for the type of automatic door application being planned. Activation of Ultra-Glide™ Automatic Sliding Entrances can be achieved by application of a wide selection of systems such as  motion sensors, push buttons, mats, keyed switches or remote devices as the designer chooses. Each automatic sliding door unit has two safety beams in the door opening and adjustable safety reversing.
